Welcome, or welcome back to NATALIE BELLE Blog! Can you believe it’s only one week until Christmas? It’s actually about 70 degrees here in NC- so it definitely doesn’t physically feel like Christmas when you step outside. I’m on winter break from school right now, so at least I’ll have time to slow down this week and take in the Christmas feeling.
Today is the last day of the week of joy/third week of Advent, and tomorrow begins week four, the final week, focusing on love. If you missed this week’s journal prompts, it’s not to late to do them! They are located here.
Focus: How much love Jesus has for each of us & sharing it at all times
Day 1: What’s your love language? What’s an example of Jesus demonstrating it in the Bible? (If you’re stuck/can’t think of anything, click here)
Day 2: Write about a time when someone did something small for you, but you still remember.
Day 3: When you do something that you think of as an act of love, do you normally do it to make you feel good about yourself or feel like you have to, or do you do it purely to glorify God’s kingdom and spread Jesus’ love? How can you change your focus this week?
Day 4: Who is someone in your life that always lets others know they are loved? How do they do that?
Day 5: What does it mean for you to reflect Jesus’ love?
Day 6: What is your favorite aspect of the love Jesus offers to us? (Unconditional, forgiving, constant, etc)
Day 7: Merry Christmas! Reflect on how you have changed during this season of Advent.
I really hope that over the past few weeks these journal prompts have encouraged, inspired, and challenged you! I had fun making them!
